As the summer gets stronger in Lisbon, the locals exchange the city center for the sand and sun of the south of Portugal, leaving the city at the mercy of tourists.
If in previous years the city would be a ghost city by this time of the year, the amount of tourism is more than enough to keep the city alive, in his normal rhythm.
It was a typical phenomenon of the city summer. The city would slow down and a lot of the shops and services would be closed, reopening only by the beginning of September. It was a chance to observe the city from a different perspective and no distractions.
But not this year. Due to the amount of tourism influx, the city is forced to become a non-stop city, changing only its user’s language.
All the best from Lisbon,
